‘Tinubu And I Have Come A Long Way – Atiku

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday, commended the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, for the part played in restoring and promoting democracy in Nigeria.
The former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party claimed that he and the former Governor of Lagos State have come a long way in restoring democracy in the country.
Atiku stated on his Twitter account on Monday while celebrating Tinubu on his 69th birthday.
He wrote: “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu @AsiwajuTinubu and I have come a long way in the common mission to restore and promote democracy in Nigeria.”
“On this special occasion of your birthday, I pray to the Almighty Allah to grant you long life and more vigour to keep the march on in the quest for good governance and a better life for our people. Congratulations, dear friend and brother.”
Meanwhile, the presidency has told former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar that he lacks any moral right to say the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is not capable of leading Nigeria.
According to Buhari’s special adviser on media and publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, Atiku should rather be worried about what he was unable to do for Nigeria during the eight years he was in office than crying foul over the activities of the current administration.
