Tinubu Departs Nigeria For The First Time As President

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Nigeria for the first time as the country’s leader.
The president who will leave Abuja next week will be attending the Global Financing Pact Summit in Paris, France.
“BAT is to attend the Global Financing Pact Summit in Paris, France, next week. This will be his first official trip outside Nigeria since his assumption of duty as President,” a source told Sahara Reporters on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
“The trip is to check his health too. It is a strategy to go to a hospital,” another source noted.
The president since his May 29 inauguration has been holding a series of meetings with individuals and groups within the country in order to bring better life to Nigerians.
