Tinubu mocks Atiku, the PDP at the APC campaign launch.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has mocked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The former Lagos State Governor, who met with Atiku at the Abuja International Airport’s private wing on Monday, called the former Vice President a “wrong theory.”
Tinubu spoke at the launch of the APC Presidential campaign on Tuesday at the Rwang Pam township stadium in Jos, the Plateau capital.
“One of them, I’m not going to name them,” he said. Is that Atiku? What exactly was atilukated? The theory is incorrect. Make a note of it. Atiku’s theory is incorrect.”
The APC candidate also slammed the PDP, calling the opposition party a “dead party.”
“They want to come back,” he said. Tell them that no soup can have a dead fish in it.”
His running mate, Kashim Shettima, as well as President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, governors elected on the party’s platform, and other national stakeholders, attended the event.
Governors Yahaya Bello (Kogi), Ben Ayade (Cross River), Mohammed Badaru (Jigawa), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), and Nasiru El-Rufai (Kaduna) all spoke at the flag-off, promising to work for the party’s success and charging supporters to do the same.
