Tinubu-Shettima ticket: Firm unveils a free transportation scheme

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
THE NAIRAXI, an indigenous high-tech mobility company, has opened an e-registration portal for Nigerians to sign up for the free transportation scheme.
Suleiman Abdullahi, the Public Relations Officer of NAIRAXI, stated this in an Abuja statement.
According to the company, millions of Nigerians have registered for the Tinubu/Shettima-NAIRAXI Transit Card Initiative.
According to the statement, the Tinubu/Shettima-NAIRAXI Transit Card Initiative would provide free/subsidized transportation for Nigerians.
It went on to say that the intervention would lower the cost of transportation in Nigeria.
“The Tinubu/Shettima-NAIRAXI Transit Card Initiative is a self-sustaining programme for Nigerians developed by indigenous smart mobility company NAIRAXI with the goal of mitigating the effects of the planned removal of fuel subsidy in June of next year,” according to the statement.
“Registration began a few days ago when the official portal was shared and opened to interested Nigerians.”
“The program is intended to benefit Nigerians.” Many have suggested that it was a vote-buying strategy, while others believe that the free transportation scheme was implemented to reach out to the grassroots. Some have hoped that the scheme will be extended beyond the election period because it will address a critical need that affects every Nigerian household.
“Keep in mind that transportation is the most expensive item after housing.” So, resolving this is commendable.
