Tinubu will be sworn on May 29 – Olabayo

The Primate of the Evangelical Church of Yahweh Worldwide, Theophilus Olabayo has assured that the President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be sworn in on May 29, 2023.

He said nothing can stop the inauguration, stating the victory of Tinubu has come to stay.

He also warned against post-election violence, cautioning politicians against hate speech that could precipitate crisis.

He advised those planning the purported interim government agenda to desist, noting that it was a precipe for chaos and unrest.

Olabayo, who predicted Tinubu’s victory in the presidential elections, stated that God had revealed to him many years back that Tinubu would emerge as President.

He said: “I don’t do prophecy for financial benefits. When God reveals things to me, I say them the way I receive them, without adding or removing anything. At the moment, we have lots of so-called prophets that are after their belly.

“Before the presidential election, I inquired from the Lord who will be the next President of this country. God told me that amongst all the presidential contestants that Bola Tinubu would emerge.

Explaining how God revealed the prophecy to him, Olabayo said: “Years back when I met Tinubu in America, I told him that time will come when he would one day be President of this country.

“I have no personal relationship with him and I only met him back then in my member’s house. I don’t follow people’s opinion, but only what God tells me.”

Speaking on the prospects of Tinubu’s presidency, Olabayo said: “Asiwaju can best be best described as a forerunner. God can use him for this time just as He used Cyrus in the Holy Bible.

“Nigeria is going to be great. I have said this several times in the past. It is for the incoming government to restructure this country to some extents so that the nation will experience economic growth and social stability in the near future,” he added.

Advising opposition parties, he said: “Opposition parties, PDP and especially LP, are part of the democratic experience. You win some and lose some, so whatever they do must be in the overall interest of the nation.”
