Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that no political opposition or coalition can prevent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from securing re-election in 2027. Ganduje expressed confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and the support of the Nigerian people, asserting that his administration’s policies and achievements would earn him another term in office.

Speaking at an event, Ganduje dismissed concerns about political alliances forming against the president, insisting that the ruling party remains strong and united. He argued that Tinubu’s government has been working diligently to address national challenges, and the results of these efforts will be evident by the next election cycle. According to him, the president’s track record will speak for itself, making any attempt to unseat him unsuccessful.

Ganduje’s remarks come amid growing discussions about the 2027 presidential election and speculation that opposition parties may form coalitions to challenge the APC. Some political analysts have suggested that a united front from opposition parties could pose a serious challenge to Tinubu’s re-election bid. However, Ganduje dismissed such concerns, maintaining that the people of Nigeria recognize and appreciate Tinubu’s leadership.

He emphasized that the APC remains the dominant political force in the country and that Tinubu’s administration has been implementing policies aimed at improving the economy, security, and infrastructure. He also called on party members to remain focused and committed to supporting the president’s vision for Nigeria’s development.

Ganduje’s statement aligns with the APC’s broader strategy of solidifying support ahead of the next general elections. The party has been engaging in grassroots mobilization efforts and strengthening its internal structures to ensure electoral success. While the opposition continues to strategize, the APC leadership remains confident that Tinubu’s governance will secure him another term.

As political activities gradually build up toward 2027, discussions about potential candidates and alliances are expected to intensify. Tinubu, who assumed office in 2023, has faced economic and security challenges but has continued to push for reforms aimed at stabilizing the country. Whether the opposition can mount a formidable challenge remains to be seen, but for now, Ganduje and the APC remain firm in their belief that Tinubu’s re-election is inevitable.
