Tinubu’s choice of Shettima as his running mate will be the final nail in Tinubu’s coffin – Agbo
By Ibekimi Oriamaja
According to the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNP), All Progressives Congress (APC) vice-presidential candidate Kashim Shettima poses no threat to APC presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso (APC).
The NNPP’s National Publicity Secretary, Agbo Major, declared this on Monday in response to APC Deputy Spokesman Murtala Ajaka’s allegations.
TrackNews the choice of Senator Kashim Shettima as the running mate for the ruling party’s presidential nominee has outraged opposition parties, according to Ajaka.
The APC deputy scribe asked Nigerians to disregard rival political parties’ religious feelings, claiming that opposition parties’ fear of the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket was unfounded.
Agbo responded to the ruling party by claiming that Shettima’s appointment is meaningless to the NNPP since he lacks credibility. He said that Shettima’s nomination streamlined the NNPP’s responsibilities because of his experience as Governor of Borno State. According to Agbo, Tinubu’s choice of Shettima as his running mate will be the final nail in Tinubu’s coffin.
”
Shettima’s appointment is supported by every true leader in this country.” These people are simply looking for something to cling to in order to survive. The APC is well aware that their situation is deteriorating. Because of his precedent, Shettima’s appointment has made life easier for the rest of us, particularly my party. His ancestors are cause for alarm.” The Governor who handed him over accused him of being the principal fundraiser of Boko Haram in 2017.” The story received a lot of attention. His selection as a jogging companion is the final nail in the APC’s coffin. “We don’t regard him as a threat or cause for concern,” he explained.
