Traditional leaders, catalysts for successful government- Gov. Bagudu

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has expressed satisfaction over the way and manner the traditional institution in the state is pursuing the interest of his administration.
He described traditional rulers as the catalysts for the success recorded by his administration in all sectors of human development.
The Governor stated this at the palace of the Emir of Yauri, Zayyanu Muhammad Abdullahi on Friday when he paid homage to the royal father and introduced the APC gubernatorial candidate, Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu to him.
Bagudu explained that in Kebbi State, there are people of different tribes and religions who are knit together for common interests and common ideas, stressing that what unites them is stronger than what divides them.
“The numerous contributions of the traditional leaders as the custodians of tradition have brought both the State government and the governed together under one umbrella”, he added.
“In fact, if not for the insecurity ravaging the entire north, Kebbi State would have been one of the most peaceful states in the country”, he added.
The Governor commended the Emir for his consistent loyalty and cooperation to his government, soliciting support for the candidature of Nasir Idris to enable him consolidate the achievement so far recorded, by his administration
