Kemi Filani recalls that during the #EndSARS protest, the palace of Lagos traditional ruler, Oba Rilwanu Akiolu, managed to escape from the hands of hoodlums who invaded and carted away everything in his palace. In the process, the hoodlums
made away with the king’s staff of office and it took almost a week before it was recovered.
There are claims that the Ogboni cult had retrieved the staff of office and the young man who took it away allegedly died mysteriously.
According to the viral video, the cleansing rites and rituals is to welcome the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwanu Akiolu back to the palace at Isale Eko, Lagos Island.
