Transfer: Eintracht Frankfurt table bid for troubled Orban
Gift Orban is unhappy at Gent because he is no longer starting games, but a lifeline may well be offered the striker after German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt submitted a bid for him.
This past week Gift Orban stirred another controversy when he accused his Belgian club of trying to destroy his career because of lack of game time.
He has also been frustrated after he did not make the big transfer in the summer as widely expected.
The reliable Kicker magazine has reported that Eintracht Frankfurt have made concrete their interest for Gift Orban.
The Transfermarkt valuation of the player is 20 Million Euros, but Gent will want a lot more for him.
The Belgian club will wish to balance the books after they recorded a massive financial loss for the past year.
It has been reported that they rejected a 25 Million Euros bids from both Premier League clubs Fulham and Tottenham for Gift Orban in the summer.
Their asking price then was 30 Million Euros.
