Transfer: Ex-U23 Eagles captain, Azubuike moves to Turkish club, Caykur Rizespor

Turkish Super Lig outfit, Caykur Rizespor have announced the signing of former U-23 Eagles captain, Okechukwu Azubuike.
Azubuike linked up with Rizespor from another Turkish side, Istanbul Başakşehir.
The length of the contract was however not stated by the club.
The 25-year-old had a loan stint with the Black Sea in 2019, making 14 appearances and scoring one goal.
“Çaykur Rizespor has reached an agreement in principle with Medipol Başakşehir for the transfer of Okechukwu Godson AZUBUIKE to our club,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
The midfielder has spent the last two seasons on loan at Turkish clubs, Sivasspor and Yeni Malatyaspor
