Transfer: Man Utd bid €80million for Antony

According to The Athletic, Manchester United’s €80 million bid for Ajax winger Antony has been rejected, TrackNews reports.

The Premier League club is thought to have made an offer for the Brazilian on Wednesday.

The reigning Eredivisie champions, however, declined it immediately.

Following back-to-back Premier League defeats, United manager Erik ten Hag is considering a number of players, including Antony.

Since joining Ajax from Sao Paulo in 2020, the 22-year-old has scored 18 goals in 57 appearances.

United is also still interested in PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo.
