Tribunal Finally Takes Decision On Judgment In Kano Governorship Election Petition

The Kano state governorship election petition tribunal has concluded hearings and is now reserving judgment on the case brought forward by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to challenge the victory of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
Justice Oluyemi Akintan-Osadebay, the chairman of the three-member panel, assured all parties that the judgment would be impartial and would be delivered sooner than the 180-day legal timeframe.
Following the completion of final arguments from all parties, including the APC advocating for the petition’s validity and the restoration of Nasir Gawuna as the election winner, and INEC, NNPP, and Yusuf urging the tribunal to dismiss the petition, the tribunal has adjourned for judgment
