Two in critical condition after ghastly accident in Ilorin

Two persons sustained injuries in a ghastly accident which occurred in Ilorin, Kwara State capital on Thursday.
The accident occurred at about 4 pm as a result of overspeeding by an unidentified driver in a Honda Accord car with registration number Lagos FKJ 772 FT.
An eyewitness told that the overspeeding car heading to Maraba axis veered off the highway opposite the Kwara State University contact office on Zango-Kulende Road, and smashed into a car wash canopy and a tree before coming to a stop in a nearby bush by the highway.
In the process, the vehicle hit and injured a motor dealer simply identified as Ibiloye who was standing beside his shop along the highway.
The badly injured driver and the motor dealer who was also seriously injured as a result of the accident were rushed to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital for medical attention.
At the time of this report, the car was yet to be moved by policemen of the Kulende Police Division who were also at the scene of the accident
