U-17 AFCON: Golden Eaglets face Burkina Faso in quarter-finals

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will face Burkina Faso in the quater-finals of the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Algeria.
Burkina Faso sealed a place in the last eight after defeating defending champions 2-1 in Annaba.
The Young Stallions finished second in Group C behind Mali.
Nigeria also finished second in Group B after coming from behind twice to beat South Africa 3-2 on Saturday night.
The Golden Eaglets defeated the Burkinabes 2-1 to win the WAFU B Championship last year.
The quarter-final fixture will hold at the Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui, Constantine on Thursday.
In the other quarter-finals pairing, Senegal will be up against South Africa, hosts Algeria will take on Morocco, while Mali will tackle Congo
