UCL: It’s impossible, I’ll resign – Tuchel speaks on being motivated by facing Chelsea

Bayern Munich boss, Thomas Tuchel has said that he is not being motivated by a possible meeting with Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Should Bayern beat Manchester City, their next opponents could be Chelsea in the semi-final if the Blues are able to overpower Real Madrid.
But Tuchel, who was sacked by Chelsea back in September 2022 and replaced with Graham Potter, said he is not thinking that far.
The German, who won the Champions League with the Blues, insisted the manner of his departure from Stamford Bridge has not fired him up anymore to prove his former employers wrong.
Asked if he had any extra motivation to beat Chelsea along the way and win the Champions League, Tuchel replied: “No, it’s impossible.
“I can just give my contract back [resign immediately] if I’m not highly motivated for tomorrow.
“This is pure pleasure, pure joy, and a great gift to be part of a match like this, a quarter-final of the Champions League.”
