Umahi vows to dethrone 2 Ebonyi monarchs if they fail to provide hints on missing naval officer

TRACKING_____The governor of Ebonyi, David Umahi, has ordered the arrest of the traditional rulers of Umuogodoakpu-Ngbo and Ohankwu communities in the Ohaukwu and Ikwo local government areas of the state.
He gave the monarchs till Tuesday, to provide information on the identities of perpetrators of the incidents that led to the missing of a naval officer and killing of a woman in the state or be dethroned.
The governor equally ordered the arrest of the coordinators of the Ohaukwu West and Ikwo East development centres, Stephen Ogenyi and Mr Ekuma Emmanuel, respectively over the incidents.
He also announced the suspension of all the people from the two communities who were appointed by the state government as technical assistants, senior technical assistants, executive assistants, liaison officers, management committee members and others.
A naval officer was recently reported missing at Eguorie village, while a woman 70, was also allegedly killed by Ohankwu people of the Ikwo LGA of the state.
But giving the orders during his Easter broadcast, Umahi reiterated thus, “I have said it and I’m saying it now, I direct that the TAs, STAs, ECs and all other appointees from these communities be suspended.”
