UNILAG Product, Bobrisky Reveals Why He Didn’t Go For NYSC

Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, has revealed why he snubbed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) after he graduated from the University.
Tracknews understands that Bobrisky graduated from the University of Lagos in 2016 but did not join his colleagues in serving their fatherland.
Telling his stories during a recent chat with Nigerian journalist and media entrepreneur, Chude Jideonwo, Bobrisky said his reason for putting aside the NYSC scheme was because he wanted to look for money.
According to him, UNILAG had frustrated his plan of becoming a cross-dresser while in school, so after graduation, he grabbed the opportunity to become who he had wanted to be.
Bobrisky said he planned to make money from cross-dressing for a few times and return to his normal self. He, however, said backing down can’t be possible for him now as the ‘brand’ is fetching him lots of money.
He said, “I finished from UNILAG in 2016, I was supposed to go for my NYSC but I didn’t cos I wanted to make money…UNILAG prevented me from being Bobrisky cos my course advisor was tough…after I left school, I became free to live as I wanted…
“In 2018, I bought a house in Chevron, in 2019 I thought about doing surgery but I was scared and same with 2020, and in 2021, I went for lipo and tummy surgery.
Bobrisky added: “My initial plan was to do it for a small time to make money as a crossdresser but now I’m not ready to stop cos it is paying me millions weekly….I started cross-dressing three years ago and I have built my brand in 4 years…
“If you say money is not everything you are lying to yourself, money is everything…if you want to get a good name, is it not with money?”
In another news, Bobrisky whose birth name is Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju recounted how Fuji King, Wasiu Ayinde Marshall aka Kwam 1 was mocked for performing at his luxurious 30th birthday party.
In a chat with Chude Jideonwu, the crossdresser revealed how he amassed so much wealth from brand influencing deals on social media.
“When I told people I wanted Kwam 1 at my party, they were like he is expensive and all but because I wanted a luxury party, I didn’t mind the cost.
“when Kwam 1 came through for me at my party, I was overwhelmed. having a legend attends to me was overwhelming, when we went to pay him in his hometown in Ijebu, people said all sorts, like why would he collect money to go and play for Bobrisky but he shunned the, accepted and said he will come through for me.”
