Utomi Reveals LP Plans To Deploy Fifteen Agents To Each Polling Unit During 2023 General Elections

By Adeleye Kunle
During the 2023 general elections, the Third Force Coalition and the Labour Party (LP) have pledged to staff each polling unit with at least fifteen agenits, TrackNews reports.
Prof. Pat Utomi, the Convener, Chairman, National Consultative Front (NCFront), and a Labour Party leader, revealed this in a statement on Friday in Lagos on Election Agenda. According to him, the coalition has worked hard and made many sacrifices to free Nigeria from the grip of aging oligarchs and to help the country overcome its numerous security and economic challenges.
“The broad coalition of women, youth, professionals, and intellectuals that has adopted the leadership of the Labour Party and Peter Obi is serving notice that, in addition to its agents, which number 15 in each polling booth across the country, it will use technology to protect Nigerians’ votes in 2023.” He stated that the organization would reveal details of Mass Polling Booth education programs, a retreat for gubernatorial candidates, and ideology workshops for all Third Force candidates in the coming week.
“People have awoken,” said the convener, who expressed delight that Nigerians’ political awareness had continued to rise. They want to reclaim their homeland.” He stated that the coalition and the LP were planning to counter any electoral manipulations and violence that could result in the election of bad leaders in 2023.
The last frontier for the people before liberation is to checkmate the traditional ways and means by which they thwart the people’s will. “These include election fraud or rigging, vote buying, tampering with electronic voting machines, equipment, and voter intimidation, as well as emotional manipulation based on ethnicity, religion, or region,” Utomi added.
