Uzodinma appoints Dan Okoro ex-police commissioner security adviser
TRACKING___Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo has appointed Mr. Dan Okoro, a retired Commissioner of Police as his special adviser on security.
A graduate of Law from the University of Lagos, Okoro also has Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho.
In addition, he has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Public Administration from the Imo State University, Owerri.
As a police officer, Okoro had training at the Egyptian Police Academy and the Israeli Intelligence Agency, Mossad.
One of his last posting before he retired was as commissioner of the FCID in Lagos.
While in service, he earned several commendations.
One of them was over the arrest of the Sierra Leonean rebel leader Foday Sankoh at the Lagos Airport.
He is married and has children.
