Award-winning singer, Davido Adeleke in a throwback interview is heard talking about the importance of giving back to people.
The video resurfaced amidst the N100M target that the singer gave his friends and associates ahead of his 29th birthday; the donation, however, has exceeded N140M barely 24 hours after putting out the word.
In the throwback interview, Davido spoke on how the people he has given back to will be there to support him in return should he ever have a downfall.
“Bros, It’s not me; Everybody I’ve helped are keeping me afloat. That’s why you see that all these people wey no really help people or give back to people; going up is sweet but your coming down go bad. My own coming down, as I dey come down, them go dey push me back up,”
He stated.
