viral presidential campaign council list is rejected by the APC
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
The list of council members that is being shared on social media and made public by some online news outlets, according to the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, is unofficial.
The supposed list was not authorized, according to a statement made on Saturday in Abuja by Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Director of Media and Publicity for the council.
He advised the general populace to dismiss it and added that the campaign council would be publicly introduced by the party’s leadership and its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
According to Onanuga, the party is aware of the public’s interest in the APC and its presidential candidate.
In court, Rivers APC is requesting that the PDP governorship candidate and others be disqualified.
However, he pleaded with the media to be caution when reporting inaccurate information.
The various directorates of the campaign organization are still being put together, according to Onanuga, who cited Mr. James Faleke, secretary of the APC presidential campaign council.
He said that the APC governors and other significant players had been consulted before moving further.
