The Omega Fire Ministry’s Apostle Johnson Suleman has responded to the death of popular gospel artist Sammie Okposo.

Track News previously reported that the musician who made headlines in January of this year for alleged infidelity slumped and died on Friday morning at the age of 51.

An American woman named African Doll, who lives in Texas, accused Sammie Okposo of impregnating and abandoning her in January 2022.

According to reports, the singer had yet to recover from the scandal, which may have harmed his health prior to his death on Friday.

In response to the tragic news of Sammie’s death, Apostle Suleman took to Twitter to recall some previous conversations with the singer, claiming that they both wept over the phone about how some pastors treated the singer following the infidelity saga.

He claimed that some people who are currently posting pictures of the singer and mourning him did not reach out to Sammie during the difficult times.

“Now they post his pictures,” he wrote. But he never reached out during his difficult times. He told me what pastors had done to him, and we both sobbed.

“Love has departed from the church.” There are more ‘lawyers’ ready to judge than intercessors ready to restore. My brother, may you rest in peace. “You triumphed!”
