We Have Gathered A Lot Of Evidence Against LP, Election Didn’t Hold In Some Areas They Won – APC PCC
The Special Adviser on Media, Communications, and Public Affairs for the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Dele Alake has alleged that elections didn’t hold in some areas that the Labour Party (LP) won in the South East. During an interview with TVC, he said that they have gathered a lot of evidence against LP and the legal team is ready to face them in court.
Recall that the LP Presidential candidate, Peter Obi rejected the outcome of the 2023 presidential election and vowed to explore all legal means to reclaim his mandate. While speaking on this, Dele Alake said that LP’s decision to challenge the outcome in court will backfire on them. According to him, a lot of evidence against LP has been gathered and elections allegedly didn’t hold in some areas that Peter Obi won.
“What they are asking for in court will open a pandora box against them. A lot of evidence is being gathered by our legal team, evidence of monumental fraud, particularly in the so-called areas that the Labour Party won. Those places in South East with 90%, and 95%, evidence is now coming out showing that proper election didn’t hold, and proper voting didn’t take place in so many wards and polling units. Whereas, results were posted and sent to Abuja by the people there.”
