We support Tinubu because he is honest, fair, and sincere — Marafa

Adeyeye Kunle
Sen. Kabiru Marafa, the Zamfara Coordinator of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has stated that APC stakeholders in the state support Asiwaju Bola Tinubu because of his honesty, fairness, sincerity, and trustworthiness.
This is according to a statement issued by the state APC Publicity Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris, on Thursday in Gusau.
Marafa made the remarks while meeting with community-based institutions to discuss the APC’s ability and capacity in the state.
“Under Sen Marafa, the Zamfara APC PCC leadership has continued to mobilize more support for Sen. Tinubu and Gov. Bello Matawalle, as well as all APC candidates in the 2023 general elections.”
“The meeting, which was held at the Government House in Gusau, was attended by the leaders of various communities in the state,” Idris said.
According to the statement, Marafa urged community leaders to back Tinubu because of his honesty, fairness, sincerity, and trustworthiness, as well as his strong faith in God.
“He asked for their help in mobilizing the electorate, particularly at rallies, to vote for all APC candidates.”
“As grassroots leaders, you are highly respected in the communities, and your words are usually accepted by your followers.”
“Tinubu and Shattima’s candidacy will bring long-term development, including economic growth, improved security, social investment, and wealth creation for citizens.”
“Tinubu’s record of service as governor of Lagos State was marvelous, unrivaled, and has been recognized by all for turning around the state’s economy and creating job opportunities,” according to the statement.
Marafa urged residents to pray for the restoration of peace in the state.
Community leaders expressed their support for Tinubu and Matawalle’s candidacies in separate remarks.
