Bello Aminu, a Nigerian residing in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria, had high hopes that his money would be safe and yield high interest when he signed up with AIM7777, an online platform that claim to have it’s headquarters in America and has transacted businesses over four decades ago across the continent

Aminu’s confidence was encouraged by the banks which AIM7777 had partnered with or had used as its official banking partners. The banks include Wema Bank, Palmpay and Opay.

Booed by the reputation of the banks, Aminu encouraged other friends and family members to join the business, where they invested their savings with the hope of it yielding returns.

Aminu, as well as hundreds of other Nigerians who had invested on the platform woke up to a shock on September 3 to realise that the company had shut down its platform, leaving with millions of naira belonging to the investors.

One of the investors insisted that “once I saw that we could actually make payments to big banks like Wema Bank, I was encouraged.”

The Company had in a message to investors promised that it will hold its anniversary celebration at InterContinental Hotel Lagos on September 15

Also, A notice by one of the admin, Anny with mobile number +85246518113 posted on August 29, 2023 that the company was upgrading its security measures to prevent investors from falling prey to employees operating illegal accounts

The notice explained that the measure was in order to avoid the appearance of false accounts, AIM technical department has upgraded the risk control system of the work platform.

The notice read: “We hope to continue to bring a safe and efficient workplace to all employees in the future.

“In order to avoid the appearance of false accounts, AIM technical department has upgraded the risk control system of the work platform.

From now on, you need to “secure account verification” on your AIM account.Security account verification method: Recharge ₦50000, click “Verify”. The bank will return the ₦50000 to you immediately, it’s just a verification process, you don’t actually need to spend money.

After all this notification, so many Nigerians on the platform paid the said N50,000 to see if they can gain access to their monies trapped in AIM7777.

Unfortunately for them on August 30, 2023 another information was passed again that in order to solve the problem of withdrawal failure, AIM has cooperated with several Nigerian local banks to launch a new “withdrawal channel.

“From this moment on, we will never have to worry about withdrawal failures. We have introduced four different types of “withdrawal channels” according to each person’s income and economic ability.

But on September 3, 2023 the bad news came when the admin posted on the WhatsApp platform that “AIM is over” and thereafter locked WhatsApp group..

Investors said the last communication from the AIM admin reads: First of all, I would like to congratulate the members like them who have made huge profits in AIM.Of course, there are also many people who have lost a lot of money in AIM.

Now, I will tell you the most real situation. In fact, we are an American financial projects company. In the project of AIM, our actual number of members exceeds 300,000. Among them, more than 200,000 members have earned at least 5 million naira in AIM. If you made money on AIM, you should feel very happy at this moment.

But you must know why you made so much money. Please look at this picture, because you are at the top of the pyramid.

Team members who are new to AIM are giving you commission income so you can make a profit, while members who have only been with AIM for a short time lose money.

In fact, AIM ran for six months. Anyone who joined AIM 5 months ago and actively developed the team has been hugely profitable.

If you lose money, don’t blame your referral because he helped you make money. Just because you didn’t seize the opportunity, you didn’t become the person at the top of the pyramid.

Now you don’t need to contact me with any questions. Because now there is no way any of your money will reach your bank account. AIM is over.
