What Peter Obi’s Presence Did To Crowd In Orlu – Imo LP Gov Candidate, Achonu Speaks

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Imo State for the November 2023 elections, Athan Achonu has appreciated the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi for his presence at a campaign rally held in Orlu Zone.

According to Achonu, Obi’s presence during the campaign sparked excitement among the massive crowd that gathered at the campaign and lit the environment with joy and happiness.

He also praised the former Anambra State Governor for his inspiration and courageous leadership, adding that Obi’s speech at the campaign brought a deep sense of purpose and assurance of greater things to come.

The governorship candidate also appreciated the people of Orlu zone for trooping out for the rally and promised to provide quality leadership if elected.

Taking to his account on the X platform, Achonu wrote: “Thank you Orlu Zone.

“Today, His Excellency, Mr Peter Obi joined us for Orlu Zonal rally. His arrival quickened the whole city and sparked spontenous excitement that lit the environment with so much joy and happiness. We also observed a one minute silence for the many souls that have been killed in the violence that ravaged the region in the last three years.

“As always he identified with the mammoth crowd and thanked Orlu zone for their support for the Labour party. While he spoke he brought in a deep sense of purpose and insurmountable drive with a profound connection to his beliefs and passion for development and better Nigeria.

“Indeed, Our progress towards restoring our dear state to a secure, Industrialized and developed sub-national government is on course and the people of Orlu are leading from the frontline. I remain committed to providing quality leadership that will help in the rebuilding process that Ndi Orlu truly deserves.
