Why Babachir remains silent as the APC Campaign Council rejects ex-SGF Dogara.

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Babachir Lawal, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, has refused to respond to a comment made by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
Remember that on Saturday, October 8, 2022, the Northern APC Christian Leaders and Northern Muslim Political Leaders met at the NAF Conference Centre in Kado, Abuja.
The APC Northern Christian leaders, led by Lawal and a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, agreed to focus on issues that unite them as a people rather than encouraging political attacks on sensitive religious issues.
Dogara and his allies have stated that they are collaborating with their Muslim counterparts in the North to support one of the presidential candidates in order to defeat the APC’s same-faith presidential ticket.
This was one of the resolutions contained in a communiqué signed by Dogara and Mukhari Shagari, a former Deputy Governor of Sokoto State and ex-Minister of Water Resources.
Dogara, Babachir, and Others Are Frauds
The APC campaign council advised Dogara on Monday to stop using religion to attack the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kassim Shetimma.
Instead of stirring up more discontent within the party, the APC statement issued by the Presidential Campaign Council’s Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga, urged Dogara to accept defeat.
Onanuga described Dogara as an unstable politician who is disappointed that he lost the race to be the party’s vice presidential candidate for the 2023 election to Shettima.
He claimed that those present at the meeting are not APC members but imposters hired by Dogara and his supporters. Onanuga went on to say that the attendees are opportunists and selfish individuals, not northern Christians as claimed.
Babachir Lawal Remains Silent
Lawal told the Punch that he was sick of talking to journalists about the issue.
He, however, refused to respond to the APC campaign council’s statement.
“I’m sick of talking to you guys. “You want me to talk every day,” he explained.
