Why I Buried My Kidnap Victim Alive After Collecting Ransom From The Father – Suspect

A 30-year-old man identified as Abubakar Abdulaziz is currently in the custody of the Katsina State Police Command for allegedly kidnapping and burying a three-year-old boy alive.
It would be recalled that the suspect committed the crime several months ago before he was arrested.
Speaking during interrogation session with Punch paper, the suspect disclosed that he ordered the father of the victim to pay a ransom of 800k but later settled for 150k.
According to him after collecting the money, he discovered that the victim was sick and he decided to bury him alive.
“He (father) then paid N150,000 out of the N800,000. Unfortunately, the boy fell sick where he was hidden inside the forest. I then buried him there while still alive. After he was dead, I still called the father to demand for an additional N10,000. It was while I was demanding N10,000 that I was arrested.” Punch paper quoted the suspect as saying.
