“Why I killed my ex-lover, poured hot water on her corpse and removed her intestines” – Football coach confesses

Bankole Oginni, a 45-year-old football coach, was arrested by the Nigeria Police, Ondo command for the brutal murder of his ex-lover.
TrackNews understands that Bankole killed and dissected her stomach and has explained the reasons for his action.
During his confession, Bankole Oginni revealed that he committed the act at his father’s residence in Oke-Aro, Akure, the state capital, after luring the victim to his house via a phone call invitation.
According to him, his parents, who are both traders were absent at the scene of the crime, however, he was caught red-handed when people traced the deceased to his house after she failed to return home on Saturday.
Bankole explained that the victim came to him for financial help, and then he used the opportunity to lure her to visit his family home to get the money.
When she came around, he gave her coke, after which she collapsed, and out of concern, he poured her hot water in an attempt to bring her back to life, which of course was futile.
When all attempts to resuscitate her failed, he panicked and severed her intestines in order to conceal the lifeless corpse.
Bankole acknowledged that he tied the deceased’s hands in order to conceal the corpse.
When asked what he wanted to do with the intestines, he said, “I wanted to put it in a bag.”
