Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has urged Nigerians not to vote for him in next year’s election based on ethnic or entitlement sentiments.

While stating that it is nobody’s turn but the youth and women’s, Obi stated that he has the ability to lead Nigeria out of its current predicament and that Nigerians should support him on that basis.
“Please do not vote for Peter Obi because I am from the South East, a Christian, an Igbo man, or because it is my turn.” It is the turn of Nigerian youth and women; it is not the turn of anyone else.
“I am requesting that you vote for Peter Obi because I am qualified.” Because I am capable. “I know what I can do to pull this country back from the brink,” he declared.

Obi emphasized the importance of strengthening and revitalizing the country’s local vigilante system, as well as collaborating with the police, to address Nigeria’s security challenges.
He stated that he will provide a functioning vigilante system for each community, as well as vehicles, communication equipment, and a link to work with police.
