Why You Must Reopen Nigeria’s Southern Borders – Guru Maharaj Ji Tells Buhari
The founder of One Love family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to reopen Nigeria’s Southern borders.
Maharaj Ji said reopening the Southern borders would help alleviate poverty and hardship in the country.
Addressing journalists on Monday ahead of his 74th birthday in Ibadan, Oyo State, the Spiritual Leader said reopening the border would restore hope to some affected Nigerians.
Maharaj Ji also stressed that the continued closure of the borders was a dent on the Federal Government.
He said:
“Mr. President open Southern borders for business to commence as earnest to save many souls who have lost hope of not being able to pay for their house rent, shops, feed their families and paying for their children’s school fees and other forms of hardships being faced for this border closedown.
“For whatever reasons, the Police, The Customs, The Internal Affairs, The Immigration, and of course, The Army are all there to make sure that illegal trafficking, smuggling and other allied border breakdowns of law and are controlled.
“Mr President must realize that Nigerians are very lawful people and without means of living, no regular food, accommodation, shoes, pants, and dresses to wear, nobody will be able to walk and think straight.”
