Woman arrested over lover’s death in Onitsha hotel
TRACKING____A woman has been arrested over the death of a 40-year-old man, Paul Okwudili in a hotel in Onitsha, Anambra State.
The suspect was said to have checked into the hotel Plus View with the deceased on the morning of Monday before the incident occurred.
The Nation gathered that the suspect reportedly raised the alarm minutes later which attracted some officers of the hotel who rushed to meet the deceased struggling for breath.
Sources at the hotel said he gave up on the way to hospital.

Police spokesman Haruna Mohammed confirmed the arrest, saying investigation was ongoing.
He said the body has been deposited at the hospital motuary for autopsy.
He said, “On the 24/2/2020 at about 0:3am, the manager of Plus View Hotel in Onitsha reported at Central Police Station, Onitsha that one Paul Okwudili ‘m’ aged about 40 years, of Ogboliolosi off Awka Road Inland Town, Onitsha allegedly took a lady to the hotel and lodged.
“Minutes later the lady came out shouting for help and the hotel management who went to the room and discovered the man gasping for breath. The lady was arrested while investigation is ongoing.”
