World Cup: Figo names Messi ‘greatest player of all time’
Portugal legend, Luis Figo, has branded Argentina captain Lionel Messi as one of the greatest players of all time.
Figo, a Real Madrid legend, said this before Argentina’s 2022 World Cup tie against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
He also insisted that the Paris Saint-Germain forward is the best player in the last decade.
“Messi is one of the greatest players of all time, and the best player of the last decade,” Figo said on Indian television channel Sports 18.
Messi led Argentina to win the Copa America last year.
The former Barcelona captain will hope to lead Argentina to win the World Cup this year in Qatar
