World Cup: Never seen such quick player – Wilshere names Senegal star to hurt England
Former England and Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere have singled out one Senegal star that could hurt the Three Lions during their World Cup knockout game on Sunday.
England has been widely tipped to beat Senegal and progress to the quarter-finals in Qatar.
But Wilshere warns that England must not be complacent against their West African opposition.
Without their talisman Sadio Mane, Ismaila Sarr has managed to carry the team to the knockout stages of the competition and they face their biggest challenge on Sunday against the European giants.
Sarr scored a penalty in the crucial victory against Ecuador and the 24-year-old is not new to England, having played his club football at Watford in the Premier League and Championship since 2019
