Yobe traditional barbers beg govt for improved working condition – See details

The Nigerian Association of Traditional Barbers (aka Wanzamai), Yobe Chapter, has begged the state government to improve their business by empowering them with modern tools.
The State Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Sa’idu Wanzam, made the appeal at the maiden meeting of the association held yesterday in Damaturu.
“I am appealing to Yobe government to train our members, especially the youth among us, to train and empower them with modern equipment to meet contemporary”, he appealed.
He explained that for ages, they were known as professionals who specialized in herbal medicine, treating infectious diseases and circumcision for children.
Wanzam also called on all members to have their voter cards intact against the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
He directed members of the Association to vote for people who would value and improve their business.
Alhaji Isah Babayaro, the Secretary of the Association, commended all members for their cooperation and enjoined them to remain united.
He applauded Governor Mai Mala Buni for his support, assuring that members of the association are ready to key into the government’s policies and programmes for the development of the state
