‘Your Houses Must Go Down’ – Wike Warns Landlords In Abuja With Strong Reason

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has issued a stern caution to property owners in Abuja who are violating the city’s urban plan.
Wike delivered this message during a press briefing in Abuja after his inauguration at the State House.

He stressed that those who have constructed buildings in unauthorized areas will face demolition, regardless of their status, be it a minister, an ambassador, or anyone else.
He also extended his warning to landowners who have encroached upon designated green spaces by constructing properties.
Wike emphasized the importance of preserving these green areas and preventing their conversion into commercial establishments like restaurants.
