Your performance at Chatham House was abysmal, according to the PDP Campaign Organization
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organization called Bola Tinubu’s performance at the Chatham House in London “pathetic” and a “national disgrace.”
According to Track News, Tinubu addressed the Chatham House audience on a wide range of issues that will form major administration policies if he is elected President in 2023.
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) spoke extensively on agriculture, election violence, security, the economy, and foreign policy, among other topics.
The former Lagos State Governor also addressed some contentious issues concerning his age, educational qualifications, wealth, and health.
However, the PDP Campaign Organisation Spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, said in a statement on Monday evening that Tinubu’s performance at the event was a “pathetic display of vacuity.”
He claimed that the APC presidential candidate has confirmed to Nigerians and the rest of the world that he is grossly incompetent and has no business running in the 2023 presidential election.
Ologbondiyan stated that Nigerians, including Tinubu’s supporters, were embarrassed to see him go blank on the world stage in a tragic display of emptiness and inability to personally respond to questions posed to him.
“Our Campaign finds it very appalling that a candidate aspiring to be President of a nation as complex as Nigeria demonstrated an embarrassing inability to coordinate his own thought process to the extent that he could not personally think through issues and address them but had to direct questions put to him, including those on his health and policies, to others to answer,” the statement reads.
“Asiwaju Tinubu has confirmed to Nigerians and the rest of the world that he has no business contesting the 2023 Presidential election; that he is grossly incompetent, completely unprepared for leadership, and intends to delegate the onerous task of leading our country to proxies and a cabal that did not seek votes from Nigerians.”
“Of course, Nigerians cannot afford to have a President who refuses to accept responsibility for leading and instead seeks scapegoats to blame for his inevitable failures.”
“Despite notes passed to him at the event by his handlers, the APC Presidential Candidate ended up becoming a butt of the international joke because he could not provide any lead on the critical issues of economy, security, youth development, and foreign policies.”
