Zamfara Police assures NYSC members of adequate security

Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Kolo Yusuf has reiterated his commitment towards security and safety of police officers deployed to Zamfara State.
The Commissioner, who visited the temporary site of the NYSC Orientation Camp at Science Secondary School, Gusau, said that the State Police command would not allow any lapses in the issue of security and safety of the residents in the State.
According to the commissioner, the visit was to assess and improve the existing security arrangements of the Camp with a view to ensuring safety and security of Corps members and NYSC staff in the State.
Yusuf in his address to the Corps members assured them of the police’s continuous commitment to their safety both in the camp and at their primary areas of responsibility.
He further enjoined them to be security conscious and report suspicious movement to the police or any security agency for prompt action.
On his part, the State NYSC Coordinator, Mallam Dan Mallam Mohammed appreciated the commissioner of Police for his concern to corps members and promised more working collaboration with the police and other security agencies to safeguard lives and property of all, including the NYSC staff in the State
