Prof. Cyril Ndifon, suspended Dean of Law at the University of Calabar, was sentenced to five years in prison by a Federal High Court in Abuja for sexually harassing female students. His co-defendant, lawyer Sunny Anyanwu, was acquitted.
The Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) had accused Ndifon of soliciting explicit photos from students; the sentences will run concurrently.
