A 30-year-old man identified as Sunday Ejor has been accused of killing his 26-year-old live-in partner, Lucy Moshe Igu, in Ekajuk community, located in Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State. The incident reportedly occurred on March 29, 2026, and has caused widespread outrage among residents.
According to reports, the suspect allegedly attacked the victim during a domestic dispute that escalated into violence. Authorities say the woman suffered multiple fatal injuries before her body was taken and abandoned in a nearby bush.
Sources familiar with the case stated that Ejor had previously been living in Lagos before returning to his hometown under unclear circumstances.
