As Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, marks his 67th birthday, heartfelt tributes continue to pour in from friends, associates, and well-wishers across Nigeria and beyond.
In a congratulatory message, the President of the All Africa Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (AAASME), Ebiekure Jasper Eradiri, also known as “Ebiekure 1 of Afrika,” described Governor Diri as a leader with “a great heart,” recalling their political journey together during the 2011 gubernatorial campaign of former Governor Henry Seriake Dickson in Kaiama, Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Eradiri noted that since those early political days, Governor Diri has maintained an open and cordial relationship, offering valuable guidance and brotherly advice whenever consulted on important personal and developmental matters.
Reflecting on memorable encounters with the Governor in Abuja, Cairo, London, New York, and Yenagoa, the AAASME President expressed gratitude for the enduring friendship and support that have characterized their relationship over the years.
He thanked God for preserving Governor Diri’s life and leadership, describing the occasion as a moment to celebrate the grace, wisdom, and strength bestowed upon him by the Almighty.
On behalf of the leadership and members of the All Africa Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (AAASME), as well as his family and household, Eradiri extended warm felicitations to the Bayelsa State Governor, praying for continued good health, divine protection, and greater accomplishments in service to the people of Bayelsa State and Nigeria.
