A prominent philanthropist and Founder of Team Tina, Hon. Tina Zuoere Erefa, has formally declared her support for Engr. Frederick Ugo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in his aspiration to represent Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area (KOLGA) Constituency II in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly in 2027.
Erefa, who is widely known for her humanitarian activities across Bayelsa State and beyond, announced the endorsement alongside members of Team Tina, a grassroots-based support network with a presence in various communities across the state.
Speaking on the decision, she described Engr. Ugo as a leader whose values align with the principles and objectives of Team Tina.
According to her, Engr. Ugo embodies the core values of positive impact, excellence, and service to humanity, which she said have remained the foundation of the group’s activities over the years.
She noted that his vision, competence, and commitment to grassroots development make him a suitable candidate to represent the people of KOLGA Constituency II in the state legislature.
“Engr. Ugo embodies the core values of Positive Impact, Excellence, and Service to Humanity that define Team Tina. His vision, competence, and commitment to grassroots development align perfectly with our mission to uplift the people of KOLGA and Bayelsa State,” she stated.
Erefa further directed all Team Tina structures, coordinators, and members across the constituency to mobilize support for the aspirant ahead of the 2027 election.
“By this directive, all Team Tina structures, coordinators, and members are hereby mobilized to embrace, campaign for, and deliver victory for Engr. Frederick Ugo come 2027,” she added.
The endorsement is expected to strengthen Engr. Ugo’s grassroots support base as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 Bayelsa State House of Assembly elections.
Political observers believe the backing of influential grassroots organizations and community leaders could play a significant role in shaping the contest for KOLGA Constituency II in the coming years.
