YENAGOA — The Bayelsa State Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, High Chief Collins Cocodia, on Tuesday received two political support groups in his office in Yenagoa, reaffirming the need for unity and sustained grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The visiting groups were the Nigerian Women for Tinubu and Shettima 2027 and the Bayelsa APC Grassroots Forum, who paid a familiarization visit to the Political Adviser.
Speaking during the meeting, High Chief Cocodia commended the groups for their commitment to strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State. He praised their vision and dedication, urging them to remain steadfast in their efforts to mobilize support for all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
According to him, grassroots engagement and collaboration among party stakeholders will be critical to the party’s success in 2027.
Earlier, the Coordinator of the Nigerian Women for Tinubu and Shettima 2027, Mrs. Elizabeth Egein, JP, and the Director-General of the Bayelsa APC Grassroots Forum, Deme Ataribo Ayawari said their visit was aimed at fostering a stronger working relationship with the Political Adviser.
They pledged their unwavering support and readiness to work closely with High Chief Cocodia in advancing the goals of the APC and ensuring the party records resounding victories in the 2027 general elections.
The meeting highlighted the growing momentum within the APC in Bayelsa as party stakeholders intensify consultations and grassroots mobilization in preparation for the next electoral cycle.
