As part of preparations for the 2026 International Youth Day celebration, the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Bayelsa State Chapter, Comrade Kokoriko Raphael, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to renowned legal practitioner and respected statesman, Barr. Panebi George Inoru, Esq.
The visit was aimed at briefing Barr. Inoru on activities lined up for the 2026 International Youth Day celebration, scheduled to hold on August 11 and 12, 2026, under the theme: “Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation Through Technology and Partnership.”
Welcoming the delegation, Barr. Panebi George Inoru commended the leadership of the Bayelsa State Youth Council for its commitment to youth development and meaningful engagement across the state.
He officially endorsed the 2026 International Youth Day celebration and pledged his full support towards ensuring its success. Barr. Inoru also encouraged Comrade Kokoriko Raphael and his team to remain focused, continue raising the standard of youth leadership, and serve as worthy ambassadors for the youths of Bayelsa State.
Responding on behalf of the delegation, Comrade Kokoriko Raphael expressed appreciation for the warm reception, words of encouragement, and unwavering support. He reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to delivering a memorable and impactful International Youth Day celebration that will promote collaboration, innovation, and sustainable opportunities for young people across Bayelsa State.
The courtesy visit ended with a shared commitment to strengthening partnerships that will empower youths and contribute meaningfully to the development of Bayelsa State and Nigeria.
