The Moving to Transform Nigeria Women (MTNW), a non-governmental organisation, has formally endorsed Hon. Bernard Kenebai, Chief Agbiki and six House of Assembly candidates from Sagbama and Ekeremor Local Government Areas ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The organisation specifically endorsed Hon. Bernard Kenebai for the Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives and Chief Agbiki as its preferred candidate for the senatorial election.

MTNW also threw its weight behind all six House of Assembly candidates from Sagbama and Ekeremor, declaring its readiness to mobilise women and grassroots supporters across the two local government areas for their victory at the polls.

The endorsements were announced during a visit by a delegation of the organisation to Hon. Bernard Kenebai at the Bayelsa State House of Assembly Complex.

The delegation was led by the Founder of MTNW, Pastor James Omoniye, who stated that the purpose of the visit was to formally pledge the organisation’s support for the endorsed candidates and reaffirm its commitment to their electoral success.

Speaking during the visit, Pastor Omoniye commended Kenebai for the warm reception accorded to the delegation and praised his outstanding service to the people of Sagbama Constituency II as a member of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

He described Kenebai as a credible, compassionate and people-oriented leader, expressing confidence in his leadership capacity and ability to provide quality representation for the people of Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

The MTNW founder further assured the endorsed candidates of the organisation’s unwavering commitment to grassroots mobilisation across Sagbama and Ekeremor.

According to him, the organisation’s support extends beyond Kenebai’s House of Representatives aspiration to Chief Agbiki’s senatorial candidacy and the six House of Assembly candidates from the two local government areas.

Also speaking on behalf of the organisation, the MTNW Ekeremor Women Leader, Madam Obriki Merit, reaffirmed the commitment of the women to the success of the endorsed candidates and pledged their full support.

Her remarks were echoed by the Sagbama Women Leader of the group, Hon. Alibina Apina, who expressed confidence in the ability of the candidates to provide quality, inclusive and people-oriented representation.

Responding on behalf of the gathering, Hon. Bernard Kenebai expressed profound appreciation to the MTNW delegation for the endorsement, prayers and words of encouragement.

He assured the organisation that his doors would always remain open and reaffirmed that his aspiration was driven by a genuine desire to serve the people with integrity, inclusiveness and purposeful leadership.

The meeting concluded with members of the delegation offering prayers for the success of Kenebai, Agbiki and the six House of Assembly candidates in the forthcoming elections.
