The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, has issued a direct and uncompromising order to troops: intensify operations, hunt down terrorists, and restore peace at all cost.
Speaking during an operational visit to troops under Operation FANSAN YAMMA in Gusau, Zamfara State, the Defence Chief made it clear that the era of half measures is over.
Addressing frontline soldiers, Oluyede praised their courage and sacrifices but stressed that more decisive action is required. He charged troops to remain disciplined, professional, and relentless, warning that the safety of millions of Nigerians rests on their resolve.
His directive was clear: sustain pressure until all terrorist elements are completely neutralized.
The CDS also assured personnel of continued support through improved welfare, enhanced training, and provision of critical equipment.
He further highlighted ongoing efforts to boost air power and strengthen coordination across military operations nationwide.
