Mr. Anthony Alazigha has publicly denied allegations linking him to a controversial publication said to have targeted Hon. Ebizi Ndiomu Brown of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

In a statement issued in response to what he described as a “very damaging publication,” Alazigha refuted claims that he is the spokesperson for a group identified as the Kolga Youth Progressive Alliance. He also denied being the sponsor of a separate publication allegedly critical of the lawmaker.

The disputed publication was reportedly carried in full by an online platform known as Trends N News. According to Alazigha, the content of the article falsely associated him with a faceless group and attributed to him a role he insists he has never held.

Alazigha stated that he is not in any way related or connected to the said association. He further maintained that he has no knowledge of the group’s activities, the content of the publication, or any matters concerning Hon. Ebizi Ndiomu Brown.

Describing himself as a career civil servant, Alazigha emphasized that he has remained focused on his professional duties and has no involvement in political affairs. He stressed that he is neither affiliated with politicians nor engaged in political advocacy.

He characterized the allegations as deliberate attempts to tarnish his reputation. According to him, the individuals behind the publication are intent on damaging his integrity and character, which he said he has built over several decades of service.

Alazigha expressed concern over the potential impact of the claims on his personal and professional standing. He noted that the accusations are entirely unfounded and based on falsehood.

He called on well-meaning Bayelsans, Nigerians, and members of the international community to disregard any information linking him to the controversial article. He urged the public not to be misled by what he described as baseless and malicious assertions.

The civil servant also indicated that steps are being taken to address the matter. He revealed that relevant state actors are being engaged to investigate the circumstances surrounding the publication and to identify those responsible.

Alazigha stated that efforts are underway to uncover what he termed the “evil doers” behind the allegations. He did not provide specific details about the nature of the engagement with state authorities but suggested that appropriate channels are being pursued.

The controversy stems from claims that he served as spokesperson for the Kolga Youth Progressive Alliance and played a role in sponsoring or promoting material allegedly critical of Hon. Brown. Alazigha has firmly denied both assertions.

He reiterated that he has no connection to the group in question and no involvement in any publication concerning the Bayelsa lawmaker. He maintained that he has never acted in any representative capacity for the association.

The statement concluded with a renewed appeal for the public to treat the allegations with skepticism. Alazigha emphasized that he remains committed to his career and personal integrity.

As of the time of this report, there has been no official response from the Kolga Youth Progressive Alliance or from representatives of Hon. Ebizi Ndiomu Brown regarding Alazigha’s denial.

The matter remains under scrutiny as investigations are reportedly ongoing to determine the source and intent of the disputed publication.
