Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano, is set to defect from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) next week, according to the Kwankwasiyya movement, which also indicated that Peter Obi will be part of the move.
Habibu Mohammed, spokesperson for the Kwankwasiyya movement, disclosed this in a statement to TheCable on Friday night. He said the decision followed a unanimous endorsement by key stakeholders within the group.
