God City International Church has announced a powerful week-long anniversary programme to mark its 10th year of ministry in Abuja, Nigeria, celebrating a decade of divine grace, spiritual growth, and kingdom impact.
The church, founded on May 1, 2016, will hold its 10th anniversary celebration from May 25 to May 31, 2026, at God’s City Garden, Plot 862A, Olusegun Obasanjo Way, Wuye, Abuja.
Senior Pastor, Pastor Matthew Morakinyo, expressed gratitude to God for ten years of sustained ministry marked by salvation, healing, deliverance, and restoration.
He described the anniversary as a prophetic moment of reflection and greater spiritual encounters, noting that the church has experienced consistent growth through God’s grace.
The celebration is themed “Full Restoration”, focusing on spiritual renewal, breakthrough, healing, and divine recovery for individuals, families, and the nation.
Pastor Morakinyo stated that the programme is a season of thanksgiving and deeper encounters with God, adding that the church is positioned for greater manifestations in the years ahead.
The anniversary programme will run daily with morning and evening sessions. Morning sessions begin at 6:00 a.m., while evening sessions hold at 5:00 p.m. throughout the week-long event.
A special vigil will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, starting at 9:00 p.m., featuring intense worship, prayer, prophetic ministration, healing, and deliverance.
The grand finale will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, with three powerful services scheduled for 7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m., expected to draw worshippers from across Abuja and beyond.
Pastor Morakinyo encouraged attendees to come with expectation, assuring that the atmosphere will be filled with testimonies, breakthroughs, and divine encounters.
Over the past decade, God City International Church has recorded numerous testimonies of transformation, positioning itself as a growing faith community in Abuja.
